Some things I like

Watching Hoarders is a great inspiration for packing. I’m donating and throwing away more stuff than I would have normally, so I can keep my move as light as possible.
One thing that I have a hard time throwing out is books, though. I don’t think I can ever get rid of my books. I have come across some interesting ones that I forgot I had, though - like this one, Very Naughty Origami.
How did I get the book? Right here most people would say, “Well, that’s a very long story…” but really, it’s a very short story: I visited my grandparents over the weekend, and as I was leaving my grandma came up to me and said, “Here’s some food. Oh, also I remember you used to do origami as a kid so here’s this,” and she handed me the book. I flipped through it. “Isn’t that horrible?” shesaid. “They teach you how to make a paper condom. And measure the paper so it fits.” Then she laughed and handed me a tupperware of spaghetti sauce and a tin of sardines.
I had a point for this post when I started writing it but I kind of lost it. I guess it’s that I love my grandma?
